art curator Fabrianne Morales in black

Fabrianne Morales — the eccentric pocket-sized art curator & mastermind behind FM ABSTRACT.

From Manila's eclectic multi-art scene, & Berlin-inspired life recalibration to becoming an international art consultant for artists, art brands & collectors.

❝I'm an art curator and a silent architect behind the scenes. I take care of the nitty-gritty details for the art people, freeing them to focus on their creative work.❞

Fabrianne Maglanque Morales is an art curator, producer, and digital creative from Manila. An eccentric, pocket-sized powerhouse, her experience spans a spectrum of artistic disciplines, honed through projects at Kanto Artist-Run Space, TIU Theater, ASPACE (now The Astbury), and ZenART London. This background fuels her expertise in curatorial work, digital content creation, and public relations, giving her a 360-degree view of the art scene.

Fabrianne's curatorial vision is clear: she champions artists with serious visual flair—those who aren't afraid to be unconventional, who dare to challenge the status quo and create art that's unapologetically their own. This philosophy is at the heart of her collaborations with artists like 1111, Alfonso Recto, Taiwanese collective Co-coism's Chang Kang-Hua, Fitz Herrera, Humbly, Ian Inoy, Isabel Barredo-Del Mundo, J. Kent Martin, Jack Mernin, John Velo, Summer de Guia, Japanese taiko group Utsuwa and many others.

Inspired by her mentor, curator, historian, and art critic Dr. An Paenhuysen, and driven by a desire to challenge the sometimes-snobby attitudes toward abstract art, Fabrianne launched FM ABSTRACT to give the art form the spotlight it deserves.

Dressed in her signature black, she approaches everything with an offbeat flair. When she's not saturating herself in art or exploring curatorial concepts, Fabrianne escapes into fiction or daydreams of transmigrating as a delightfully mischievous Danmei side character or a perfectly poised Wes Anderson villain.
